The Sutra rug draws its inspiration from the most ancient Indian traditions. Its name comes from the Sanskrit “सूत्र – Sūtra” , which means “thread”, “link”, “sacred weave” , but also teaching transmitted with precision . A deeply symbolic word, evoking weaving, continuity, and the connection between elements.
This is exactly the spirit of this creation: a rug that links material, gesture and beauty in a subtle harmony.

Hand-tufted in the state of Uttar Pradesh, Sutra is distinguished by its rhythmic pattern of fine ivory striations, traced like repeated artisan marks. This minimalist and textured design creates a delicate, almost meditative visual movement.
Its naturally nuanced shades of taupe-grey accentuate its contemporary character, while retaining an organic softness that integrates elegantly into all modern interiors.
