Derived from the Latin word marmora, the plural of marmor, meaning “marble”, the name of this creation evokes the timeless nobility of stone and the richness of its natural veining.

Marmora Ivory transforms the surface of the rug into an abstract mineral landscape. Against a luminous ivory background, irregular lines in shades of sand, beige and taupe unfold like delicate fissures running through ancient stone. Its free-flowing, organic design recalls both the natural veining of marble and the contours of a contemporary map.

Variations in pile height and texture accentuate each line, giving the rug a subtle sense of depth that can be appreciated both visually and through touch.
