Bear – Wooden and Natural Stone Side Table

Right-hand opening available – Left-hand opening available for pre-order for December

Bear draws its identity from an essential approach to design, where material takes precedence over ornament. Inspired by a sober and refined architectural aesthetic, this side table reflects a search for balance between mineral strength, the warmth of wood and the contrast of finishes.

Its compact, structured design evokes a monolithic form — stable, quiet and assured. Designed with carefully considered proportions, Bear stands out through its natural stone top, placed like a raw yet precious element on a wooden base. The combination of travertine and espresso-stained ash creates an elegant contrast, making this piece both functional, decorative and visually distinctive.

The design is based on rigorous geometry, softened by the detail of the framed, slightly recessed top. The integrated door, discreet and perfectly aligned, follows the continuity of the lines and offers practical storage without altering the purity of the overall form.

Thanks to its compact format and integrated storage, Bear can be used as a side table in a living room or as a bedside table in a contemporary bedroom, a refined suite or a hotel-style interior.

Opening Direction

For use as a bedside table, Bear is available with two opening directions, allowing it to adapt to the chosen placement on either side of the bed.

The opening direction is indicated when facing the table from the front:

— Right-hand opening: available
— Left-hand opening: available for pre-order, with shipment planned for December

The left-hand opening version allows you to create a harmonious pair of bedside tables, with an adapted opening on each side of the bed.

Available Finishes

Each finish reveals a different interpretation of the material.

The grey travertine version combines a fully filled grey travertine top with a matte finish and light ash. It offers a deep, contrasted and architectural presence.

The beige travertine version combines a semi-filled beige travertine top with a matte finish and espresso-stained ash. It brings a brighter, softer and more contemporary expression.

The carefully selected wood grain brings a natural vibration to the surface, while the stone reveals its own nuances, variations and natural irregularities. Each piece therefore has its own unique character.

The Combination of Wood and Stone

The combination of wood and natural stone creates a subtle balance between warmth and minerality. The wood brings an organic and enveloping dimension, while the travertine asserts a raw, noble and timeless presence.

This dialogue between materials gives rise to a durable piece, designed to move through styles and integrate naturally into contemporary, minimalist or warmer interiors.

Why Choose Bear

Bear is both discreet and expressive. Its simple silhouette, noble materials and carefully crafted finish make it a functional piece of furniture, but also a true compositional element within a space.

Used alone as a side table or as a pair of bedside tables, it structures the interior with elegance and introduces a living, understated and refined material presence.
